and of course go star gazing at the Galt House (a Derby institution).
You'll take a VIP distillery tour, learning the secrets of Kentucky Bourbon.
On your own Thursday afternoon, you may choose to learn some history of a different sport at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.
Stroll along the Ohio River at Waterfront Park and take part in the Derby Festival activities such as Winefest.
Or start your racing experience early with a trip to Churchill for Thurby (Thursday before Derby)
Thursday evening you will sample the culinary creations of renowned chefs at the Taste of The Derby
On Friday, don't dally too long, you'll want to get to Churchill Downs early to soak up the atmosphere and get acquainted with the area. "Clarence the Clocker," our own personal handicapper will give us insights for the Kentucky Oaks, the big race of the day.
Think PINK and wear PINK for the fillies' race and breast cancer awareness.
Saturday morning, put on your Derby bonnet and warm up your vocal cords,
soon you'll be singing "My Old Kentucky Home" with tears in your eyes.
It's a short ride to Churchill Downs for KENTUCKY DERBY 151.
